For 25 years, Basehor-Linwood High School has hosted its annual car show as a fundraiser for the school and its students. Originally, the funds that were raised were earmarked to benefit Project Grad, which offers an event with organized, adult-supervised and alcohol-free activities held after graduation. For the past four years, Basehor VFW Post 11499 has partnered with the Basehor-Linwood Education Foundation to sponsor the car show with the money being used to fund student scholarships and community veteran causes.
