The Leavenworth Board of Education plans to sell the Nettie Hartnett school building. Superintendent Kellen Adams said this was the direction given by the board Monday during a special meeting.

Storms that passed through the area Monday night led to multiple severe thunderstorm warnings and a tornado watch for Leavenworth County, according to officials with Leavenworth County Emergency Management.
