The Lansing City Council recently corrected an error in voting on March 20 that resulted in denying rezoning of a parcel of land along McIntyre Road that has been an agricultural district. Because a valid protest petition had been filed by residents across the street from the proposed rezoning, a supermajority vote was required for approval.
