Leavenworth Main Street and the Haymarket Event Center will host a free summer concert Saturday night in downtown Leavenworth. The Box Turtles will perform from 7-10 p.m. at Haymarket Square, 7th and Cherokee streets. Concessions will be available to purchase. No outside food, drinks or coolers are permitted. According to their Facebook page, The Box Turtles feature “soul-curdling soft jams and heart-knocking/ear-rockin’ slams. A group of Kansas kids making their own noises.” Submitted
