The Fairmount Township Fire Department recently held its annual awards dinner at the Basehor VFW Post 11499. Because of the pandemic, awards for three years were combined into one awards banquet. Milestone service anniversaries from 5 to 55 years were acknowledged as well as promotions and new hires that had taken place since 2019 were announced by Fire Chief Mike Lingenfelser.
