The Basehor Lions Club held a rib cook-off contest recently to celebrate the organization’s 50th anniversary of serving the community. The group gives of its time, labor, skills and financial support to help those in need and to make Basehor a better place to live.
Lansing city officials wanted to make minor changes to the wards for council member elections to make them easier to explain to residents, but it appears they will not be able to do that. That was what City Administrator Tim Vandall reported to council members Thursday.
