Property owners who live in expensive homes on large lots near McIntyre Road told Lansing City Council members at a recent meeting they aren’t happy with what they consider decisions being made without sufficient resident input.Three property owners in that area have voluntarily annexed a considerable amount of land to the city in that area, and the Planning Commission and the council has acted on one rezoning application and is considering requests to form a Reinvestment Housing Incentive District. One developer, Ad Astra Development, LLC, presented a conceptual plan to council members for a single-family home subdivision known as Riverbend Heights that would be developed over several years.Some property owners came to a council meeting in November to express their displeasure about the plan.
