Several members of Basehor Velo, a group of bicycling enthusiasts in the southern Leavenworth County, participated in the recent Santa Fe Trails Annual Cancerthon. The group entered five teams with participants from ages 30 to 60 and the proceeds of the event helped raise more than $2,700 to benefit the American Cancer Society.
