Since the suggestion of a short-term mask mandate was raised at a recent Lansing City Council meeting, several city officials decided to go to the source of valid information – the director of the Leavenworth County Health Department.
Like employees of Leavenworth County, elected officials serving in the county government received 4% pay raises for 2022. County Clerk Janet Klasinski said the salaries with the pay increases were included in the 2022 budget, which was approved by county commissioners last year.
