ADOPT A PET

Shadow, a terrier mix, has a beautiful brindle coat. He arrived at Animal Control through no fault of his own as his owner had to move. Shadow is very friendly and knows some great commands. He has lived with cats. He would do best in a home with a fenced yard. Check out a video on the Leavenworth Animal Welfare Society’s Facebook page of Shadow doing his tricks. The Leavenworth Animal Control Shelter is full and needs help in getting some dogs adopted. The shelter is located at 2019 S. 3rd St., behind Price Chopper. Hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, except holidays. KANSAS
