Girl Scouts lift holiday cheer with caroling performance
Local Girl Scouts brought holiday cheer to residents of Basehor recently with their annual caroling event. Sixth-grade Cadette Girl Scout Troop 3734, plus third-grade Brownies and fourth-grade Juniors Troop 3338 in addition to Tonganoxie’s sixth-grade Cadette Troop 1609, got together to perform at Basehor’s VFW Post 11499 annual Christmas party.Troop leader Jerilyn Eaton said that each year, the group holds their own Christmas party where the girls sing karaoke songs to prepare for caroling in the community.
