Pro golfer, writer meet at Arizona tournament

The Cologuard Classic PGA Tour Champions tournament was held earlier this month at the La Paloma Country Club in Tucson, Arizona. The event not only had a $2.2 million purse with $330,000 to the winner, it also helped raise money to support colon cancer awareness and southern Arizona youth sports.Seventy-eight PGA champions competed over three days and those pro golfers were matched with a colon cancer survivor, caregiver or a family member of a patient who did not survive their colon cancer battle.

Dad and his new girlfriend at ‘his hospital’

When I showed up to see dad one day at the nursing home, I discovered he had decided to have a girlfriend.If he had any inkling of what he was wearing, he’d been mortified. Dealing with symptoms of allergies is one of those extra perks for folks who choose to live in the Midwest. Do people strolling the beaches in California also suffer from sneezing attacks, watering eyes and nasal congestion? Do they have the pleasure of their sinuses feeling like a pressure cooker?Should I blame it on the seasons changing? Barometric pressure?
