Ardella Lavena Marie Wallace, first born of the late Harold Pinchem and the late Cleo Brown Pinchem, was born on May 14, 1932, and passed on July 3, 2022. Ardella was a graduate of Sumner School. After graduation, she married James Wallace and moved to Washington, D.C., and Philadelphia before settling the family back in Leavenworth.
David “Davey” A. Thomas, age 57, died unexpectedly on July 12th, 2022. He was born in Leavenworth, Kansas on June 7th, 1965, to Jess “Dusty” and Gertrude (Kruse) Thomas, who preceded him in death. Davey is survived by two sons: Dalton Thomas of Leavenworth and Dakota Thomas of Helena, MT and one grandson, Tilden T. Thomas born earlier this year to Dalton and his wife Quincy. Also surviving are his brothers and sisters Beth McCall, Bonnie Williams, Dale Thomas, all of Leavenworth, KS, and Dallas Thomas of Reed Springs, MO as well as numerous nieces and nephews throughout the United States and serving overseas.
Frank Meyers, Jr.,76, of Leavenworth passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2022. Graveside service will be held at Leavenworth National Cemetery on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at 9 A.M.

Lowell Hudson, Dothan, Ala., was born to Vera and Rollie Hudson. He retired as a Captain from the Bureau of Prisons and later went on to be the first Warden of the first private prison in the State of Georgia. He loved to have company and cook wonderful meals. Food was a way he showed love to friends and family.
