Jose Antonio Valdez-Albizu passed away unexpectedly at St Luke’s Hospital, Kansas City Missouri February 7, 2022. He was born 1950, the son of Chi Chi Valdez and Luz Valdez in San Pedro De Macoris, Dominican Republic, where he spent his early years.

MANHATTAN - Donald Madison Marks was born on January 12,1925 to Ernest Lee Marks and Ruth Vivian Tennyson in Leavenworth, Ks. His early years involved working at Beckers Pharmacy, being the football quarterback at Immaculata High School where he graduated and where he was an accomplished swimmer and diver.

LANSING - Robert (Bob) C. Riese of Lansing, passed away, Feb. 7, 2022, at home with his wife and family by his side. He was born Jan. 2, 1932, in Flushing, N.Y., the son of Albert F. and Emma C. (Hulsebosch) Riese.

Gwendolyn Webb Buchanan, 85, formerly of Leavenworth, Kansas passed away on December 25, 2021, in Olympia, Washington. She was with her loving family when she went home to be with the Lord. She was born in Topeka, Kansas to Richard and Fern Webb on March 2 1936. She was raised in Topeka and attended Buchanan Grade School, Topeka High School, and Washburn University.

Donna Jean Parks, age 53 years young, passed into the care of Jesus, her Lord and Savior at the Olathe Medical Center on February 3, 2022. Celebration of Life Service will be 11:00 am on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at the Davis Funeral Chapel, 531 Shawnee Street, Leavenworth, KS 66048. The visitation will immediately follow the service at the Chapel. Memorial contributions can be made to Special Olympics International, Shriners Hospitals for Children or the Charity of the Donor’s Choice.
