Adulting in the hot months isn’t an unrelenting drudgery

The summer before my senior year of college, I was told by multiple adults to enjoy it, since I would never get that much of a break again once I entered the workforce. What a scary thing to hear when you’ve only lived a fifth of your life. To make matters worse, that entire summer I was doing political work, and COVID was preventing any serious vacationing. Instead of hitting the pool every day, I had to settle for the newest Animal Crossing update on my Nintendo Switch, where my avatar could at least jump in the ocean bordering my island.

Poison ivy treatment that works wonders for me

When it comes to poison ivy rash and how to treat it, there seems to be several remedies, and some conflict with each other. For example, there are those who will say to never use warm water to rinse the raised pustules because you may spread the rash. I don’t know if that is just a personal opinion that keeps being repeated, which makes it an “old wive’s tale,” or if there is legitimate scientific research to prove it.
