The recent rain and warm temperatures that caused a significant snowpack melt in Yellowstone National Park are really fascinating and give us look at the future. It was unfortunate that at least one of the roads was built directly on the alluvium that was the riverbed in the area where sections of the road were completely washed away.

Dear Amy: This past April, my girlfriend of 10 years passed away. She didn't have a will or any life insurance. Her brother paid for the cremation. He came to the house to pick up some of his sister's things.
