Millions of individuals in this country rely on Medicaid. To me, Medicaid is like a person who gets beat up on all the time.

To the editor:I am deeply concerned about CoreCivic’s continued attempt to move forward with an ICE detention center in Leavenworth, despite clear opposition from our community. CoreCivic has a long and troubling history of mismanagement, human rights violations and safety issues at its facilities.
