Adversity continued to vex the Lansing High School boys’ soccer team Monday as it dropped a difficult 2-0 nonconference decision to Maur Hill Mount Academy on a wet Lansing High School pitch.Once 4-0, the Lions dropped to 4-5-1 with the loss.According to Lansing goalie Joe Anderson, his crew will need to work together to get out of its current funk.“Honestly, we just need to get back to the way we were playing those first four games,” Anderson said. “If we do that, and we don’t give up when adversity hits, we can do it.”The game’s first goal came with 18:48 remaining as Maur Hill sophomore Ismael De la Pena held the ball deep into the goal box – a possession that turned a Lansing defender 180 degrees from the play.
