Basehor-Linwood opens wrestling season with largest team in six years Basehor-Linwood opened Wednesday’s dual by showing off its youth club, which at over 200 kids is one of the largest in the state. Those numbers are starting to trickle down to the high school program as the Bobcats are starting the season with 29 wrestlers, the most in head coach Jason Puderbaugh’s six seasons.

FIRST CITY PASSAGEWAYS

Artists have created artwork on obscure doors, windows and niches throughout downtown Leavenworth as part of Leavenworth Main Street’s First City Passageways art exhibit. Art creations can be found at eight locations. Here is a list of the locations and the artists: 121 Delaware St. (Alan Collins); 414 Delaware St. (Alan Collins); 427 Delaware St. (LV Arts); 401 Delaware St. (Nancy Bauder), 529 Cherokee St. (Julie Jenista); 531 Shawnee St. (Nancy Bauder); 520 Delaware St. (Meredith Thompson), and 600 Shawnee St. (LV Arts).
