Leavenworth’s strong start continued with a road win over its biggest rival. Behind 5 2/3 strong innings from starting pitcher Brandon Jones, the Pioneers defeated Lansing 6-3 Tuesday night.

After multiple postponements, Leavenworth finally got to take the softball field Tuesday. And the wait was worth it as the Pioneers defeated rival Lansing 10-5 in game one of a doubleheader.

Athletes from Lansing and Basehor-Linwood will represent Kansas in the 2022 DiRenna All-Star Games.
