Doris “Jean” Clark

Doris “Jean” Clark, 90, Riverside, Mo., died Sunday, February 12, 2023, at Riverside Nursing and Rehab Center, Riverside. She was born December 10, 1932, in Easton, Kan., the daughter of Thomas and Dorothy Allen Adams. She had three sisters (Shirl ey Cotton, Carole Monahan and Sherry Dodson) and one brother (Steve Adams). Jean graduated from Easton High School in 1951. She married Charles Clark on September 8, 1953, in Cheyenne, Wyo. He preceded her in death in 2007. They had two daughters (Cindy Clark and Amy Clark). She retired from Jefferson County Memorial Hospital, Winchester, in 1994. Jean loved all animals, especially her two cats, Cleo and Peyton. She would tell anyone who would listen about how smart they were.

She also loved to watch sports, especially the KU Jayhawks and Kansas City Chiefs. She was so appreciative of all those that helped to take care of her throughout the years after she was widowed. She was especially thankful and close to Karen Stoner, Vince Monachino, Tom Geiger, Michelle Marshall and all the nurses at Riverside Nursing and Rehab Center and The Gardens, including Tami and Destanee. Services will be 2:30 p.m., Friday, February 17, 2023, at Barnett Family Funeral Home in Oskaloosa. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services, 1:30 2:30 p.m.. Burial will follow at Easton Cemetery.
