New traffic lights on Fourth Street flash yellow Thursday in downtown Leavenworth. Leavenworth Public Works Director Brian Faust said the lights began flashing yellow Thursday for a "burn in period" to help drivers prepare for the new signals. The lights will be switched to normal "red, yellow, green" operation sometime after 9 a.m. Monday.
