James Skahan has been chosen to serve as the grand marshal of the 41st annual Leavenworth St. Patrick's Day Parade. The parade will begin at 1 p.m. Mach 17 in downtown Leavenworth. Skahan is a deacon of the Sacred Heart-St. Casimir Catholic Parish. He and his wife were surprised with the grand marshal announcement shortly before a monthly meeting of the Knights of Columbus where he serves as the chaplain for the order.
