Firefighters remain at the scene of a fire Tuesday evening near Basehor. The fire was reported at 7:12 p.m. at a residence on 174th Street near Kansas Avenue. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. No injuries were reported, according to Mike Lingenfelser, chief of the Fairmount Township Fire Department.
