Joan Marie White, 88, of Ketchum, Okla., passed away peacefully on October 11 after a long illness. Born September 15, 1934, in Leavenworth, Kan., to Wm and Adelia (LaMay) Klasinski, she attended St. Joseph’s grade school and St. Mary’s Academy. She graduated Immaculata High School ‘52 and Providence Nursing School ‘55.

She practiced nursing in the Leavenworth area over the next 40 years before retiring to Oklahoma.

Joan is survived by her husband of 67 years, Thomas W. White; her children, Michelle (Gary) Marshall, Denise White, Tom (Cindy) White, Melissa (Bob) Wallingford, and Nicole (Howard) Crook; her brother, Wm Klasinski and sisters Margaret Ann (Richard) Cook and Mary C. Upchurch. Thirteen grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
