Jon A. Lander

Age 81, born to Mary Jane and Alden Lander.

He attended Immaculata and Leavenworth High Schools, graduating in 1959, and graduated Emporia State in 1963. He married Judy Logan in 1963 and remained by her side until her passing in late July. He spent most of his career as a salesman, for American Family Insurance and later for an RV parts distributor. Jon and Judy spent their retirement traveling, relaxing, and enjoying time with family. Jon is survived by his son Jonathan and daughter Julie, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A private ceremony will be held Thursday, Aug. 11th. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Great Plains SPCA or the KC Pet Project.
