Debra Bates-Lamborn discussed a photograph of the Kansas State Penitentiary, circa 1910, during a recent meeting of the Leavenworth Area Retired School Personnel Association (LARSPA). Bates-Lamborn, owner of First City Photos, talked about her historic glass negative collection. Her presentation showed famous people, buildings and events in the Leavenworth area.
