Kansas Rep. Vic Miller, Kansas House of Representatives minority leader, will be the featured speaker at the Aug. 18 Leavenworth County Democratic Party fundraiser Paint the Town Blue! Sen. Jeff Pittman will address the attendees as well. The annual event is being held at the Leavenworth Riverfront Community Center and begins with a social hour from 6-7 p.m. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m. The gala will have a silent auction.
