Patricia “Patty” Robinson, 80, of Lansing, KS, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2022 after declining health the past few months. Patty & her beloved twin sister, Sally, were born on December 6, 1941, the day before the Pearl Harbor attack, in Leavenworth, KS, the daughter of Norman and Velva (Allen) King.

She graduated from Lansing High School, the class of 1960. She married Frank Wills Robinson, Jr. on August 6, 1960. They were married for 26 years until his death in 1986. Patty has two sons, Gary D. Robinson (deceased) and Gregory C. Robinson. Patty adored and loved her grandchildren: Brian Wills Robinson (Santa Rosa, CA); Hilary Kaye Robinson (Big Fork, MT); Dylan Frank Robinson (Lansing, KS). She has 3 great-grandchildren Baker, Harlie (Lansing) & Sanoe (Santa Rosa).

Other survivors include her sister Mary (George) Lingenfelter & multiple nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman & Velva King, & sisters: Norma (Fred) Anderson, Sally (Glenn) Linaweaver, Ruth (Jack) Lowenstein.

Patty enjoyed her family, reminiscing, watching the “Chiefs” & “Jayhawks” and her favorite show, “Wheel of Fortune.” Respecting her wishes, she chose cremation and asked that her family and friends gather at a Celebration of Life at her sons’ local establishment, The Groggery, on Sunday, May 15, 2022 starting at 1:00 p.m. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
