Shirley L. Christy, 79, of Leavenworth, Kan. passed away, Wednesday, July 13, 2022.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lorain Bohannon and her husband of 28 years, Richard Christy.

She is survived by two sons, Richard (Jackye) Christy and Randal (Amy) Christy; four grandchildren, Tara, Max, Randal II and Kalyn Christy; and a brother, Dale (Carol) Bohannon.

Mrs. Christy retired from the V.A. Medical Center in 1994.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at the R.L. Leintz Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens Cemetery.
