LEAVENWORTH – Virginia Ann Wright, 81, of Leavenworth, died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2021, at North Kansas City Hospital.

A visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 7, 2022, at the R.L. Leintz Funeral Home and will be open to the public. A funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday, at Memorial Chapel at Fort Leavenworth. Due to COVID restrictions, attendance at Ginny’s funeral is limited to family and close friends. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Leavenworth Animal Welfare Society “L.A.W.S.” or the Leavenworth County Humane Society.
